About The Position
Delta Hotels Southlake is seeking a Kitchen Steward to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout the kitchen. The role includes cleaning dishes and equipment, keeping floors and work areas clean, handling trash, and storing clean china, glassware, and silverware carefully in their proper locations. The Kitchen Steward works with kitchen teammates, may interact with guests, and is expected to bring a flexible, can-do attitude and represent the team reliably and professionally. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and/or relevant hotel or related experience; this experience is preferred. They should communicate clearly, make sound decisions quickly, and remain composed and effective in stressful, high-pressure situations. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or relevant experience in a hotel or related field; preferred.
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.

- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities
- Clean dishes, pots, kitchen equipment, and work areas; sweep floors and take out trash.
- Maintain kitchen sanitation and cleanliness.
- Return clean china, glassware, and silverware to their proper storage locations, taking care to prevent breakage.
- Work cooperatively with kitchen teammates and interact with guests as needed.
- Approach varied tasks with flexibility and a can-do attitude.
- Represent the team reliably and professionally, demonstrating good character and sound judgment.
