About The Position

Wyndham Grand Jupiter is seeking a Food Runner to support food and beverage outlets, including in-room dining, and help create memorable dining experiences. The role involves delivering food promptly, taking in-room dining orders by phone, checking order accuracy, and presenting orders with care. The Food Runner works with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to provide friendly, efficient guest service and maintain clean, organized service areas and equipment.

The schedule includes morning shifts from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and evening shifts from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Weekend and holiday work is needed as required. This is seasonal employment. Compensation is advertised as an average earning potential of $20 per hour, comprising $13 per hour base pay plus tips; actual total earnings may vary with business volume.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of food service, restaurant, or customer service experience is preferred.
• Positive, upbeat, team-oriented attitude.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take accurate orders over the phone.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent guest service.
• Ability to work flexible morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of standing, walking, and carrying food trays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders to guests across multiple dining outlets, including in-room dining, with timely service and proper presentation.
• Answer phone calls and take in-room dining orders accurately while providing friendly, professional guest service.
• Verify orders for accuracy and completeness before delivery.
• Communicate with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to support smooth and efficient service.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and questions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining areas, and food delivery equipment.
• Assist with clearing tables, transporting dirty tableware, and restocking service supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and service standards.
