About The Position

The Food Runner ensures food is delivered from the kitchen to guests promptly, accurately, and professionally. The role supports front-of-house and back-of-house teams by maintaining communication, checking food presentation, and ensuring dishes meet restaurant standards before reaching guests. Food Runners help maintain smooth service, keep the expo area organized, and assist servers in providing an exceptional guest experience. They are expected to work with urgency, communicate clearly, maintain high standards, and contribute to efficient service from the kitchen to the table.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to the correct tables promptly and accurately.
• Verify food presentation, quality, and order accuracy before running dishes.
• Communicate effectively with expo, kitchen staff, servers, and management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expo area and throughout service.
• Assist servers with table maintenance, guest requests, and overall service needs.
• Demonstrate urgency, teamwork, attention to detail, and professionalism during peak business hours.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant service standards.
• Maintain a positive attitude and take initiative to support the team wherever needed.
