About The Position
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Double Cut Food Runner to provide friendly, responsive service and help create an exceptional dining experience for guests. The role contributes to a positive overall impression through professionalism and a helpful attitude, while supporting the resort’s service expectations and values.
Requirements
- Prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant or a background in the service industry.
- A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
Responsibilities
- Ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
- Remove used tableware between courses and clear and reset tables after guests leave.
- Greet guests, explain specials, provide menu tours, recommend items, and communicate menu changes.
- Deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner using appropriate service trays.
- Work as part of a team and apply the Kalahari Promise’s core values and service expectations.
