About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Server for Double Cut Steakhouse. The Server provides friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for guests. The role involves attentive, personalized service and ensuring food and beverage orders are delivered accurately and promptly. Servers work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a smooth workflow and a positive, efficient dining environment, while following Kalahari’s core values and service expectations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to operate a Micros terminal, phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser.

Nice To Haves

• General food and beverage knowledge, including at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations, is preferred.
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
• Greet guests, explain specials, provide menu tours, and recommend menu items and changes.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system for transmission to the kitchen and bar.
• Deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen and bar to guests promptly using appropriate service trays.
• Assist fellow associates, including servers, bussers, hosts/hostesses, and management, as situations arise.
• Participate as a team member and follow Kalahari’s core values and service expectations.
