About The Position

Esplanade at Azario Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, Florida, is hiring a part-time Food Runner to support dining-room service at a hospitality-focused property. The role prepares and delivers food, maintains dining and service areas, assists servers, and follows Troon standards and safe work practices. One month of related experience or training is required. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, cleanliness, and neatness, and have regular, reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Ensure materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operations.
Know the placement of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
Prepare the outside line with underliner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and other items needed to deliver food.
Organize plates in the window and match them with tickets before delivering food to tables.
Set tables according to Troon Golf standards.
Ensure each menu item is prepared exactly as specified on its ticket.
Consult the chef to correct an item that does not meet the ticket specifications before delivering it.
Fill and refill water glasses and remove unused place settings.
Clear dishes from guests’ places after a course is completed.
Clear and reset tables after guests leave, including changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, positioning chairs, and replacing silverware, glassware, and napkins.
Assist servers as needed.
Keep workstations stocked with items and ingredients.
Clean workstations, take out trash, and vacuum the dining room.
Incorporate safe work practices into job performance.
Perform other duties as required.
