About The Position

Marcus Theatres is hiring a part-time Food Runner to support its food and beverage service team and help provide guests with an excellent dining experience. The role involves communicating information between management, kitchen staff, servers, and customers, and assisting servers during busy periods to maintain a high-quality customer experience. The Food Runner works in a professional bar and restaurant environment and may perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for helping provide an excellent guest dining experience.
• Ability to relay important information between management, kitchen staff, servers, and customers.
• Ability to assist servers and perform tasks necessary to support a high-quality customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up dish garnishes, assemble trays, and stock bread.
• Polish silverware.
• Set up and break down the station at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Assist with special guest requests to support guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen associates to support guest satisfaction.
• Serve food to tables when needed.
• Assist with bussing duties when needed.
• Remove dirty dishes from kitchen and server areas.
• Maintain plate-presentation standards.
• Maintain the condition and cleanliness of the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
