About The Position

Marcus Theatres is seeking an enthusiastic Food Runner to support its food and beverage team and help provide guests with an excellent dining experience. The role helps connect management, kitchen staff, servers, and customers by relaying important information and assisting servers during busy periods. Food Runners may perform a range of tasks to support service and ensure a high-quality customer experience. The position is described as seasonal in the posting, while the title identifies it as part-time.

Responsibilities

• Set up garnishes for dishes, assemble trays, and stock bread.
• Polish silverware.
• Set up and break down the station at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Assist with special guest requests to support guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen associates to support guest satisfaction.
• Serve food to tables when needed.
• Assist with bussing duties when needed.
• Remove dirty dishes from kitchen and/or server areas.
• Maintain the standard of plate presentation.
• Maintain the condition and cleanliness of the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
