About The Position

Marcus Theatres is hiring an enthusiastic Food Runner to help provide guests with an excellent dining experience at one of its food and beverage locations. The Food Runner supports the service team, relays important information between management, kitchen staff, servers, and customers, and assists servers during busy periods to help maintain a high-quality customer experience. The role is part of a professional bar and restaurant environment and includes a fully paid accelerated training program.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for helping provide an excellent guest dining experience.
• Ability to support staff and improve the dining experience for customers.
• Ability to relay important information between management, kitchen staff, servers, and customers.
• Ability to assist servers during busy hours with tasks needed to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up garnishes for dishes, assemble trays, and stock bread.
• Polish silverware.
• Set up and break down the station at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Assist with special guest requests to support guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen associates to support guest satisfaction.
• Serve food to tables when needed.
• Assist with bussing duties when needed.
• Remove dirty dishes from kitchen and/or server areas.
• Maintain the standard of plate presentation.
• Maintain the condition and cleanliness of the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
