About The Position

Marcus Theatres is hiring a part-time Food Runner to support its food and beverage team and help provide guests with an excellent dining experience. The Food Runner relays important information among management, kitchen staff, servers, and customers, and assists servers with tasks as needed during busy periods to maintain a high-quality customer experience. The role is based in a professional bar and restaurant environment and includes duties that support food preparation, service, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Set up garnishes for dishes, assemble trays, and stock bread.
• Polish silverware.
• Set up and break down the station at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Assist with special guest requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen associates to support guest satisfaction.
• Serve food to tables when needed.
• Assist with bussing duties when needed.
• Remove dirty dishes from kitchen and server areas.
• Maintain the standard of plate presentation.
• Maintain the condition and cleanliness of the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
