About The Position

Marcus Theatres is hiring a Food Runner to support its food and beverage team and help provide guests with an excellent dining experience. The role involves relaying information among management, kitchen staff, servers, and customers, and assisting servers with tasks during busy periods to maintain a high-quality customer experience. The position is part of a professional bar and restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up garnishes for dishes, assemble trays, and stock bread.
• Polish silverware.
• Set up and break down the station at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Assist with special guest requests to support guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen associates to support guest satisfaction.
• Serve food to tables when needed.
• Assist with bussing duties when needed.
• Remove dirty dishes from kitchen and/or server areas.
• Maintain standard plate presentation.
• Maintain the condition and cleanliness of the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
