About The Position

Marcus Theatres is seeking an enthusiastic Food Runner to help provide an excellent guest dining experience at one of its food and beverage locations. The Food Runner supports servers and other staff, relays important information between management, kitchen staff, servers, and customers, and helps ensure a high-quality customer experience during busy periods. The role may also involve serving food and assisting with bussing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up garnishes for dishes, assemble trays, and stock bread.
• Polish silverware.
• Set up and break down the station at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Assist with special guest requests to support guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen associates to support guest satisfaction.
• Serve food to tables as needed.
• Assist with bussing duties as needed.
• Remove dirty dishes from kitchen and/or server areas.
• Maintain the standard of plate presentation.
• Maintain the condition and cleanliness of the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
