About The Position

Milk & Honey is hiring a Food Runner for its New Orleans-themed Southern brunch restaurant in Manassas. The Food Runner delivers food orders promptly and accurately, coordinates with kitchen staff and waitstaff, and helps provide an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced environment. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized workstation and dining area, learning menu offerings and ingredients, answering guest questions, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work.
Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to learn menu items and service procedures.
Ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
Able to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8+ hours per shift.
Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40–50 pounds.
Able to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and twist.
Manual dexterity to safely handle dishes, glassware, and cleaning tools.
Able to work in a hot, wet, and noisy kitchen and dining environment.
Able to navigate crowded spaces while safely carrying items.
Visual and auditory ability to identify spills, hazards, and guest needs.
