About The Position

Milk & Honey is a New Orleans-themed Southern brunch destination serving flavorful dishes from brunch through dinner. The Food Runner delivers food orders promptly and accurately, works with kitchen and waitstaff to support smooth service, and helps create a welcoming and memorable guest experience. This role requires knowledge of menu offerings and ingredients, attention to cleanliness and organization, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dining environment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Communicate effectively in the primary language of the workplace.
Work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Learn menu items and service procedures.
Take direction and work in a team environment.
Stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 or more hours per shift.
Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40–50 pounds.
Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and twist.
Have the manual dexterity to safely handle dishes, glassware, and cleaning tools.
Work in hot, wet, and noisy kitchen and dining environments.
Navigate crowded spaces safely while carrying items.
Have the visual and auditory ability to identify spills, hazards, and guest needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver food orders to guests promptly and accurately.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and waitstaff to ensure smooth food delivery and an exceptional guest experience.
Provide attentive, friendly service and work to exceed guest expectations.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation and dining area.
Learn menu offerings and ingredients to answer guest inquiries and make recommendations.
Represent the brand by creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
