About The Position

The Food Runner ensures every dish leaves the kitchen and reaches Members’ tables promptly, accurately, and at the proper temperature and presentation standard. The role serves as a critical link between the kitchen and dining room. Because Club operations have fluctuating demands, the employee may perform a variety of duties and is expected to help others when needed.

Requirements

• Strong sense of urgency, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Offers are contingent upon a successful background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Prior food running, serving, or kitchen experience is preferred.
• Food Handler certification, or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve completed dishes from the kitchen pass and verify accuracy against the ticket before delivery.
• Deliver food promptly to the correct table and seat, confirming the course and item with the guest.
• Immediately communicate delays, discrepancies, or quality concerns to the expo and kitchen team.
• Maintain working knowledge of daily menu items, specials, and preparations to answer basic Member questions.
• Assist with plate presentation and garnish checks before service.
• Support servers and bussers with clearing and resetting tables during peak service periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line and runner stations.
• Follow food safety protocols for proper holding times and temperatures.
• Help others and perform a variety of duties as operational demands require.
