Food Runner Winter 2026-2027 H2B Visa In-Country Extension
About The Position
Yellowstone Club is a private residential community in Big Sky, Montana, offering its Members the world’s only private ski and golf community. It provides fabulous skiing and snowboarding, and gorgeous spring and summer weather for enjoying the 18-hole golf course, rivers, hiking, biking, and more. The Food & Beverage (F&B) department is seeking candidates for Food Runners for the Winter 2026-2027 season. The ideal candidate will be part of the Montana charm, providing the highest level of guest service, ensuring no detail is too small to overlook, and creating experiences.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 months of food runner experience in a fine dining restaurant, luxury resort, or private club setting
- Able to communicate effectively and speak/write English clearly/legibly
- Occasionally required to talk and/or hear
- Frequently lift up to 30 pounds
- Use hands/fingers to handle/lift items
- Constantly required to stand/walk/climb or balance
- Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands/arms
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must pass pre-employment background check, paid for by the employer, which is carried out equally among U.S. workers and H-2B workers.
- Meet departmental productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance, scheduling, and consistency standards.
Responsibilities
- Support restaurant operations by aiding in delivering food to Members and guests in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner
- Know the ingredient details of every dish on the menu
- Deliver food and beverages in an efficient manner while carrying the appropriate and designated equipment
- Communicate clearly with the front of house and kitchen staff
- Assist in serving orders to Members and guests
- Know the sequence of service and follow it each time when approaching a table
- Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and presentation
- Answer questions pertaining to the restaurant menus
- Work in collaboration with other teammates to meet Member and guest expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized dining area and work station
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned by leadership
- Responsible for bussing of tables and assisting with glassware upkeep
