About The Position

We are seeking a Food Runner & Bus person to join the team at our restaurant. This role links the kitchen and wait staff by setting and clearing tables, delivering food, bussing tables, washing dishes, and serving as a liaison between the front of house and back of the house. The position is suited to someone who is friendly, hardworking, and interested in starting a career in the hospitality industry.

Requirements

• Be comfortable communicating with people.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Have a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a similar position is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers their meals and drinks efficiently.
• Communicate food orders to kitchen staff.
• Refill drinks.
• Run food upstairs and work outdoors.
• Wipe down tables, chairs, and other surfaces.
• Remove tablecloths and reset tables.
• Remove dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables.
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations.
• Wash dishes and act as a liaison between the front of house and back of the house.
