About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring multiple employees for food production and sandwich assembly in Grapevine, Texas. Requirements

• Previous food preparation or food handling experience is required.
• Previous experience working in a cold or refrigerated environment is required.
• Comfort working in refrigerated areas and frequently entering freezer spaces.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Strong attendance and punctuality.
• Dependable and able to work until daily production is completed.

Nice To Haves

• Dressing warmly and wearing appropriate clothing for cold temperatures is strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Receive sandwich products and materials from incoming delivery trucks.
• Unload and organize sandwich products and production supplies.
• Set up condiments, ingredients, and other materials needed for production.
• Assemble and prepare sandwiches on a production line.
• Retrieve condiments and supplies from refrigerated and freezer areas.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and sanitary food preparation workspace.
• Stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
