About The Position

The Food Production Specialist handles production of key items for the Deli-CMS, Meat-Seafood, Bakery, and Produce departments. The role also supports guests across departments by helping them find products and complete meal solutions. The specialist inspects products for proper rotation, follows cleaning and sanitation procedures, and completes reports as needed while following company standards, policies, and protocols and adhering to uniform standards.

This is a full-time role with a typical schedule of 3 am–11 am and days off usually on Sunday and Wednesday. Scheduling needs may change, and team members are expected to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends, days, evenings, and holidays. Hours worked between 12 am and 5 am receive an additional $2.00 per hour. The posting lists pay ranges of $16.24–$18.67 per hour and $18.19–$19.40 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Handle production for key items supporting the Deli-CMS, Meat-Seafood, Bakery, and Produce departments.
• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store.
• Work across departments to help guests find products and complete meal solutions.
• Inspect store products for proper rotation.
• Follow cleaning and sanitation procedures and complete reports as necessary.
• Follow The Fresh Market’s standards, policies, and protocols.
• Present professionally, including adhering to uniform standards.
