About The Position

Sodexo Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Food Operations Manager 2 for Food & Nutrition Services in Towson, MD near Baltimore. This position will cover two locations; Towson and Ellicott City. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating tasks through subordinate managers and staff, delivering high-quality food services (retail, catering, patient meal management), achieving financial targets, developing client and customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with HACCP, regulatory standards, and company standards.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years minimum management experience
  • 2 years minimum functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional communication skills
  • Passion for a high level of customer service
  • Financial ability to manage and demonstrate proven results with material costs, labor, procurement compliance and controllable expenses
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Responsibilities

  • Have oversight of day-to-day operations

  • Deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and patient meal management operations
