About The Position

The Food & Nutrition Specialist provides assistance with dietary functions as directed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. The role supports meal preparation and service, including following production sheets and recipes, setting up meal-service items, and helping ensure meals are delivered on time and at the proper temperature. The position also requires respectful, person-centered interactions with residents and a commitment to the organization’s mission, values, policies, and ethical standards.

Requirements

Completion of Food Handling training and certification.
Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care with dignity, respect, compassion, and integrity.

Nice To Haves

Previous dietary experience in an acute-care or long-term-care environment is preferred.

Help ensure meals are prepared and delivered on time and at the proper temperature.
