About The Position

The Food & Hospitality Associate sets up and assembles food for residents and, during meal service, attends to residents’ needs and serves food in an attractive and professional manner. This position is at Masonicare at Middlewoods of Newington in Newington, Connecticut, for 22.5 hours per week on day/evening shifts, including weekends.

Requirements

• Some high school education.
• On-the-job training.
• Knowledge of dining room systems.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete preparatory service assignments and post-service assignments in a timely manner.
• Participate in menu class and present the menu to residents clearly, informatively, and courteously.
• Wait on tables in a timely manner and ensure residents’ needs are met promptly and accurately.
• Interact with residents, families, and coworkers professionally.
• Report to work on time in the required proper uniform.
• Attend all mandatory education events.
