About The Position

The Food & Hospitality Associate sets up and assembles food for residents and, during meal service, serves food attractively and professionally while meeting residents’ needs. The role includes completing preparatory and post-service assignments, presenting menu information to residents, waiting on tables, interacting professionally with residents, families, and coworkers, reporting to work on time in the required uniform, and attending mandatory education events. The position is listed at Masoonicare at Middlewoods of Newington in Newington, Connecticut, for day/evening shifts, 16 hours per week, and every other weekend.

Requirements

Some high school education.
On-the-job training.
Knowledge of dining room systems.
Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Complete preparatory service assignments and post-service assignments in a timely manner.
Participate in menu class and present it to residents clearly, informatively, and courteously.
Wait on tables in a timely manner and ensure residents’ needs are met promptly and accurately.
Interact professionally with residents, families, and coworkers.
Report to work on time wearing the required uniform: clean shirt, bow tie, apron, name tag, black slacks and shoes, and a pen.
Attend all mandatory education events.
Set up and assemble food for residents and serve food attractively and professionally during meals.
