About The Position

Meijer is hiring a Food Clerk to help maintain a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience across its Fresh departments. The position involves taking stock from an l-cart or pallet and using the location codes on boxes to place products in the correct shelf locations until the assigned area is complete. The role also includes assisting customers, maintaining product displays, and supporting store operations across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.

Responsibilities

Move stock from an l-cart or pallet and place it in the correct shelf location using the location codes provided on the box.
Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
