About The Position

The Team Member provides excellent customer service, maintains store cleanliness, and supports efficient store operations. The role helps create a positive shopping experience by offering prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service. The position offers flexible schedules across mornings, afternoons, and evenings, with part-time work available and open availability considered a plus. Weekly pay is offered, with starting pay of $14 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and cash-handling experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours during shifts.
• Ability to lift boxes and products weighing up to 50 pounds; frequently lift 10–25 pounds and carry items across the store.
• Ability to bend, squat, reach for products on high and low shelves, climb a ladder as needed, and walk regularly throughout the store and between departments.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as scanning items, restocking, and organizing products.
• Ability to work in cold environments, including freezers and refrigerators, while restocking.
• Ability to maintain the focus and stamina needed to perform physical tasks throughout a shift.
• Ability to handle emergency situations and work alone.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers positively and assist them in locating products and making purchasing decisions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of promotions, discounts, and new arrivals; recommend products and upsell or cross-sell items.
• Operate the cash register and accurately and securely process cash, credit card, and other sales transactions, including providing correct change.
• Ensure sales records are accurate and balances are correct at the end of each shift.
• Restock shelves, refrigerators, and displays as needed.
• Clean and sanitize aisles, counters, bathrooms, and other store areas.
• Assist with inventory control by receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise; report low stock and assist with inventory counts.
• Monitor the store for security issues, theft, or suspicious activity.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to protect customers and staff.
• Work with other team members to meet store goals and improve the customer experience.
• Follow directions from store managers and supervisors to support daily operations.
• Perform seasonal snow removal as needed and respond to emergency situations.
