About The Position

This position is responsible for taking stock from an l-cart or pallet and using the location codes on each box to place stock in the correct shelf location. The process is repeated until the assigned area is finished. The description also presents the role as a Food Clerk within Meijer’s Fresh departments. Food Clerks help create a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience by assisting customers, maintaining product displays, stocking and merchandising goods, and following food safety and quality procedures. Work may include Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery, along with other tasks that support store operations.

Responsibilities

Take stock from an l-cart or pallet and place it on the shelf indicated by the location codes on the box.
Continue stocking until the assigned area is finished.

Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
Work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery departments.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
