About The Position

The Food Clerk supports a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience in Meijer’s Fresh departments. The role provides remarkable customer service through product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude while completing retail tasks related to products, customer service, and merchandising. The position may work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery, and includes stocking, rotating, and merchandising products, maintaining appealing displays, and following food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures. The role requires staying active in a fast-paced environment and using job-specific technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
