About The Position

At Hyatt Vacation Club (HVC), the Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor helps provide Owners and guests with memorable experiences in a supportive, friendly, and inclusive environment. The role oversees food and beverage operations and service standards, supports and trains associates, monitors guest areas, manages inventories and supplies, and helps with hourly duties as needed to maintain coverage and guest satisfaction. The position requires availability for various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.

Requirements

Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
Able to reach overhead and below the knees; bend, twist, pull, and stoop; and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
May be required to complete background and drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO practices, and cleanliness, and correct deficiencies.
Complete inventories of supplies, food, and liquor; check stock and requisition necessary supplies.
Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
Assist other departments as needed to ensure optimum guest service.
Ensure associates are trained in company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job.
Collaborate with management to formally recognize hourly associates' performance contributions.
Perform hourly duties as needed to ensure proper coverage and guest satisfaction.
Welcome and greet guests, anticipate their needs, and address them.
Interact professionally and promptly with colleagues and guests.
Contribute to team goals and follow company policies and safety procedures.
