About The Position

The Food Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing various aspects of the Food and Beverage department, including staff management, event coordination, and budget adherence. This role involves ensuring policy compliance, conducting employee evaluations, hiring and training new staff, and collaborating with other departments for special events. The manager also works closely with the Director of Food and Beverage on departmental issues and participates in budget meetings.

Requirements

• Experience in food and beverage management.
• Ability to issue corrective action paperwork.
• Proficiency in conducting employee evaluations and reviews.
• Skills in hiring and training new staff.
• Experience in coordinating special events.
• Ability to schedule staff meetings.
• Experience working with marketing and entertainment departments.
• Familiarity with budget formulation and management.

Responsibilities

• Issue corrective action paperwork for policy and procedure violations, up to and including terminations.
• Oversee and ensure the completion of all annual evaluations and reviews with employees prior to their anniversary date.
• Hire new staff and oversee/organize training schedules.
• Work closely with Marketing, Entertainment, and all other departments for any and all special event functions that require food and/or beverage products.
• Schedule regular staff meetings.
• Work closely with F&B director on all departmental issues.
• Attend yearly budget meetings to assist in configuring and formulating a comprehensive working budget for the Food and Beverage department to adhere to.
• Perform other related duties assigned or requested by the Director of Food and Beverage.
