Food & Beverage Manager
About The Position
CUSA, LLC, a successful hotel management company, is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager for their Courtyard Tuscaloosa Bistro. This role involves the daily oversight of a 40-seat lobby restaurant and an 8-seat lobby bar. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of safe food service practices and understand Marriott Brand hotel reporting requirements. The position requires ServSafe certification and the ability to obtain an Alabama State beverage service certificate. The manager will oversee an average of 5-7 bistro associates, manage food, beverage, and labor costs for the outlet, and ensure compliance with state, local, and management company regulations and policies. The schedule is flexible based on hotel occupancy, and responsibilities include associate scheduling, labor cost control, ordering, and inventories.
Requirements
- General knowledge of safe food service practices.
- Understanding of Marriott Brand hotel reporting requirements.
- Ability to be ServSafe certified.
- Ability to obtain an Alabama State beverage service certificate.
Responsibilities

- Supervise, train, discipline, and hire bistro associates.
- Develop and implement promotions.
- Conduct menu cost analysis and/or pricing for restaurant and catering.
- Work line shifts to support labor and cost control restraints.
