About The Position

Midtown is seeking a friendly, driven Food & Beverage Associate to support its restaurant experience. The role serves and assists customers by taking, servicing, and delivering orders; suggesting food and drink options; and maintaining a safe, sanitary workspace. Associates collaborate across the food and beverage team and may have opportunities to become familiar with other areas of the business, including fitness, racquet sports, and spa. The team is expected to be on stage, punctual, and ready to deliver its best work, anticipate problems, and take preventative measures for members. The department sometimes supports member events. Nice To Haves

Current ServSafe certification.
A strong desire to provide exceptionally consistent, meticulously prepared food and beverages as an expression of hospitality.
Transferrable skills and education will also be considered.

Responsibilities

Serve and deliver members’ meals and smoothies.
Clean and maintain a sanitary workspace.
Collect customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Handle money and payment information with integrity and proficiency.
Build lasting relationships with members and staff through social interactions and conversation.
Suggest food and drink options to customers.
Help anticipate problems and take preventative measures for members.
At times, participate in member events involving the food and beverage department.
