About The Position

This part-time position in the Food and Beverage department at the Cocoa Beach Country Club and clubhouse provides beverage service to members and guests in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner. Under general supervision, the role performs customer service work and starts at $14.00 per hour, plus tips. The position requires working weekends and holidays. The successful candidate prepares and serves drinks according to standard recipes and club preferences, maintains the bar area, monitors and restocks inventory, processes payments using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, and helps create a welcoming guest experience. The role also supports food and beverage orders for events and coordinates with staff.

Requirements

Graduation from high school.
Ability to operate automated office machines, including typewriters, cash registers, and calculators.
Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
Ability to walk or stand to a significant degree, consistent with Light Work physical demands.

Nice To Haves

3 to 5 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve drinks according to standard recipes and club preferences.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, tools, and surfaces.
Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed.
Process payments accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) System.
Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote club events and/or specials.
Ensure compliance with state and local alcohol service laws.
Assist with food and beverage orders for events and coordinate with staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
