About The Position

The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort is seeking a hands-on Food and Beverage Manager to help lead its evolving dining experiences as the resort undergoes a transformative renovation and repositioning. Reporting to the Assistant Food and Beverage Director, this position will lead the daily operation of an assigned outlet and ensure attentive, timely, and gracious hospitality for guests and members. The manager will be cross-trained and expected to provide leadership and operational support throughout the resort’s Food & Beverage operation as business needs change. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor or emerging manager ready to take ownership of an outlet while developing skills for broader Food & Beverage leadership.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of Food & Beverage experience in a hotel, resort, private club, restaurant, banquet, or comparable hospitality environment.
  • At least one year of supervisory, shift-lead, or management experience.
  • Working knowledge of restaurant or banquet service, staffing, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, service standards, and guest recovery.
  • The ability to lead, train, coach, and hold team members accountable in a respectful and constructive manner.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
  • Basic knowledge of labor management, inventory, cash handling, cost controls, productivity, and waste reduction.
  • Comfort using point-of-sale, scheduling, reservations, inventory, and other hospitality operating systems.
  • The flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on business needs.
  • Food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications, or the ability to obtain required certifications within the designated timeframe.

Nice To Haves

  • A hospitality-related degree is preferred, but not required. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead opening, closing, service readiness, and daily operations within the assigned outlet.
  • Maintain a visible presence during service and provide hands-on support to the team.
  • Supervise, coach, motivate, and develop outlet team members.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings, assign stations and side work, coordinate breaks, and adjust coverage as needed.
  • Partner with culinary leaders to support food quality, presentation, timing, menu availability, and kitchen-service communication.
  • Monitor guest and member feedback and respond to concerns with urgency, sound judgment, and genuine care.
  • Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, labor deployment, inventory, cash handling, point-of-sale procedures, and other outlet controls.
  • Maintain standards for cleanliness, sanitation, organization, equipment care, and overall outlet presentation.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, training, performance feedback, recognition, and corrective action.
  • Become cross-trained throughout the resort’s Food & Beverage operation and provide management coverage in other outlets when requested.
  • Serve as the Food & Beverage manager on duty when assigned.
  • Help build a culture rooted in hospitality, accountability, pride, teamwork, and genuine care.
