About The Position

This role provides leadership and direction for the Food and Beverage Group, focusing on managing standards of quality, service, safety, and profit. The manager will be responsible for developing and implementing goals, policies, and objectives, overseeing all aspects of operations, and assisting with recruitment, hiring, and training of management and staff. Administrative functions including scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, coaching, counseling, and discipline are also key components of this position. The role involves overseeing managers, supervisors, and employees, attending meetings, and conducting training seminars on topics such as tips and food handling. Ensuring guest satisfaction through menu planning, pricing, coordinating staff for events, inspecting outlets for compliance, and addressing guest feedback is crucial. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for creating and implementing promotions and special events, maintaining profitability by monitoring costs, and contributing to the annual budget and business plan.

Requirements

  • 5 years of restaurant/business supervisory or management experience
  • High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Managing standards of quality, service, safety, and profit
  • Developing and implementing goals, policies, and objectives
  • Overseeing all aspects of the operations under his/her direction
  • Assisting in recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training of management and staff
  • Carrying out all administrative functions pertaining to hiring, scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, coaching, counseling and discipline
  • Overseeing managers, supervisors and employees under their direction
  • Attending all meetings as required
  • Conducting training seminars (Tips, food handling, etc.)
  • Assisting in the menu planning, analysis, and pricing
  • Coordinating additional staff needs for special events and conference center business
  • Inspecting outlet(s) and employees to ensure compliance with health, safety and state regulations
  • Addressing guest feedback concerning outlets(s) service, presentation, quality of product and overall experience
  • Creating and implementing promotions, animation and special events for the outlet(s)
  • Monitoring labor costs, cost of goods sold, and other costs
  • Contributing to the annual budget process and business plan
  • Accomplishing related results as needed
