About The Position
At McCormick's Bindery, a division of Fox Group, the Fold Glue Operator sets up, operates, and clears folding and gluing equipment, imagers, scanners, and cameras efficiently while maintaining established production rates and quality standards. The role includes following standard operating procedures, preparing materials and equipment for production, supervising helpers, and completing required quality and production documentation.

Responsibilities
- Perform line clearance according to standing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and complete Line Clearance (LC) Logs.
- Stage all necessary material at the machine.
- Read and understand job jacket instructions.
- Ensure the customer sample is at the machine and that first-piece approval matches the sample.
- Supervise helpers.
- Obtain supervisor sign-off on first-piece approval.
- Perform quality pulls as specified in department SOPs.
- Complete production logs for Fox and the customer, if required.
- Ensure the machine is properly set up and running at the specified rate and quality.
- Identify non-conforming products and place QA inspection tags on the load.
- Follow customer-specific manufacturing, quality, and shipping requirements.
- Report unclear or conflicting information to the department supervisor.
- Request labels from shipping and apply them to cartons if required.
- Perform other duties as required.
