About The Position

Performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. Responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the laundry facility. The role is based in a warehouse setting and may involve exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and cold, dust, and noise. Work follows a shift schedule that may include weekends, with overtime required as needed. The position involves repetitive motions throughout a shift and requires bending, reaching, pulling, twisting, lifting, grasping, standing, and walking for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

• Ability to understand required training and written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet the attendance schedule.

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage carts in a lift table, secure the safety chain, and raise the table.
• Fold linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender or seat covers.
• Identify and segregate merchandise that does not meet quality standards, including items with rips, tears, holes, or stains.
• Accurately verify merchandise quantities and bundle items by type.
• Place bundles in the correct storage bins, carts, or on shelves.
• Maneuver full and empty baskets.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and observe best practices in production activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
