About The Position

This assistant supports a variety of shoots and editing projects while gaining valuable hands-on experience in media production. They work closely with faculty and advanced assistants to create high-quality content and help maintain the FMA lab. Ideal for students with a solid foundation in media skills and a desire to grow creatively and technically.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of video content, including shooting, lighting, and editing support
• Support upper-level assistants and faculty on media projects and class shoots
• Help maintain FMA Lab organization and assist fellow students with projects
• Contribute ideas to media projects, collaborating with other assistants and faculty
• Collaborate with Pike TV staff to support live campus events and sporting broadcasts in a hands-on support capacity
