About The Position

Reporting to a supervisor, the Flow Coordinator collaborates with the operations and transportation teams to plan, execute, and maintain the flow of product through the facility. The role focuses on maximizing productivity and meeting facility goals, while partnering with leadership on continuous improvement initiatives and reporting. This position works at a standing desk on the production floor and is identified as second shift.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of distribution center experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks or projects concurrently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Mid-level understanding of the PKMS Warehouse Management System, including inventory, shipping, and receiving functions.
• Ability to work both in a team environment and autonomously on individual tasks.
• Excellent attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the Beumer sortation system.
• Work with supervisors and clerks to monitor and maintain product flow through the facility to maximize productivity.
• Assist with retail wave-end resolution and ensure waves across all shifts are properly closed out and cleaned up.
• Monitor the retail wave-end pack-out process to ensure waves close correctly in Beumer, WCS, and WM.
• Communicate workload status to upper management.
• Communicate and/or resolve jams on the Beumer sorter platform.
• Monitor WCS lines throughout the building for potential jams and communicate them to appropriate personnel.
• Troubleshoot WCS, Beumer, and WM wave close-out issues.
