About The Position

Reporting to a supervisor, the Flow Coordinator collaborates with the operations and transportation teams to plan, execute, and maintain product flow through the facility to maximize productivity and meet facility goals. The position partners with leadership on continuous improvement initiatives and reporting. It oversees the Beumer sortation system, monitors product flow and retail wave closeout processes, communicates workload status to upper management, and troubleshoots issues involving the Beumer sorter, WCS, and WM.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of distribution center experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work on multiple tasks or projects concurrently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Mid-level understanding of the PKMS Warehouse Management System, including inventory, shipping, and receiving functions.
• Ability to work both in a team environment and autonomously on individual tasks.
• Excellent attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the Beumer sortation system.
• Work with supervisors and clerks to monitor and maintain product flow through the facility to maximize productivity.
• Assist with retail wave-end resolution and ensure waves across all shifts are properly closed out and cleaned up.
• Monitor retail wave-end pack-out to ensure waves close correctly in Beumer, WCS, and WM.
• Communicate the status of facility workload to upper management.
• Communicate about or resolve jams on the Beumer sorter platform.
• Monitor WCS lines across the building for potential jams and communicate them to appropriate personnel.
• Troubleshoot WCS, Beumer, and WM wave-closeout issues.
• Partner with leadership on continuous improvement initiatives and reporting.
