About The Position

French Florist is seeking a creative, passionate, and experienced part-time Floral Designer to create custom floral arrangements using flowers from around the world. The role involves working directly with customers to understand and fulfill their floral needs, maintaining the workspace and flower inventory, and helping prepare incoming floral shipments.

Requirements

• Prior experience in floral design and strong knowledge of arrangement styles and techniques.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for color and balance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Genuine love for flowers and creativity in work.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Frequent use of hands and arms for cutting, arranging, and wrapping flowers.
• Comfort working in cooler environments and handling buckets of water and floral supplies.
• Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and create custom floral arrangements for all occasions.
• Work directly with customers to understand and fulfill their floral needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
• Ensure flower inventory is properly maintained and restocked.
• Assist with unpacking and preparing floral shipments.
