About The Position

As a Floral Clerk, you help customers bring their ideas for celebrations, romance, and remembrance to life by creating floral arrangements with creativity and care. The role involves applying knowledge of floral seasonality, perishability, and care requirements while maintaining clean, organized workspaces and displays, replenishing inventory, and arranging stems and ribbons. You will assist customers in identifying their needs and translating their ideas into arrangements, work with floral tools and helium tanks, and use basic point-of-sale systems. The job also involves lifting and moving floral products and supplies, sometimes weighing up to 40 pounds, and standing and moving throughout the day.

Requirements

• Experience in floral arrangement and design, with creativity and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with floral perishability, seasonality, and care requirements.
• Ability to engage with customers, identify their needs, and translate their ideas into arrangements.
• Ability to maintain clean, efficient workspaces and manage inventory and supplies.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation and to stand and move throughout the day.
• Familiarity with floral tools, helium tanks, and basic point-of-sale systems.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with fellow associates.
