About The Position

Rite Rug is hiring a Flooring Design Consultant to work in a mobile showroom serving customers in the Cleveland–Strongsville, Ohio area. The consultant helps customers select flooring products and coordinates the sales process while building and maintaining customer relationships. The role includes outside retail and B2B sales, working with area realtors, measuring for installation, processing payments, and following up to confirm customer satisfaction. Training is provided. Compensation is base salary plus commission, with an advertised range of $50,000–$175,000 per year and uncapped commission potential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Comfort working with and learning computer systems.
• Eagerness to learn and grow.

Nice To Haves

• Flooring experience is preferred.
• Experience using Measure Square or RFMS Measure software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Conduct sales to outside retail customers, B2B customers, and area realtors.
• Determine customers’ needs and match them with appropriate products.
• Promote and sell Rite Rug flooring products and services.
• Take measurements for installation.
• Receive and process payments according to Rite Rug procedures.
• Follow up to ensure the job is completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Develop thorough knowledge of flooring products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
