About The Position

Rite Rug is hiring a Flooring Design Consultant for its Centerville–Dayton, Ohio location. The consultant develops customer relationships, identifies customer needs, recommends suitable flooring products and services, and promotes and sells Rite Rug offerings. The role also includes measuring for installation, processing payments, following up on completed jobs to confirm customer satisfaction, and building thorough knowledge of flooring products. Rite Rug describes itself as a leading privately owned flooring company with 90 years of experience.

Requirements

• At least one year of sales experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Comfort using technology, including computers, tablets, and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Determine customer needs and match them appropriately with company products.
• Promote and sell Rite Rug flooring products and services.
• Provide measurements for installation.
• Receive and process payments according to Rite Rug procedures.
• Follow up to ensure the job is completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of all flooring products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
