About The Position

The Floor Technician maintains a safe, clean, and sanitary environment in a professional and courteous manner. The role fosters teamwork with peers and other hospital staff. Duties include periodic project cleaning; stripping and refinishing floors; machine scrubbing and recoating floors; high-speed burnishing of hard-surface floors; shampooing and extracting carpet; cleaning upholstered furniture; and washing lights, vents, diffusers, walls, ceilings, and windows.

Requirements

• Ability to be a leader and a trainer.
• Basic safety and equipment operation/maintenance capabilities.
• No previous experience required.
• No license required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
