About The Position

The Floor Technician performs floor maintenance and commercial cleaning to maintain cleanliness standards. Duties include buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning; selecting appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment for different floor surfaces; inspecting floors and reporting maintenance issues; and following safety protocols. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.

Requirements

• Prior experience in floor care and commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Knowledge of buffing techniques and carpet cleaning procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Willingness to learn new cleaning methods and technologies.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Dependability, including following instructions, responding to management direction, taking responsibility, keeping commitments, and completing tasks on time or communicating an alternate plan.
• Observance of safety and security procedures, appropriate use of equipment and materials, and reporting potentially unsafe conditions.
