About The Position

The Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance and restoration and operating industrial floor care equipment. The role includes caring for hard-surface floors, carpets, and upholstery; using automated equipment to clean large floor areas; and following appropriate safety procedures. No experience is necessary, and training is available. The position is full time, with multiple shifts available; schedule details are provided during the interview. The listed location is 206 Fairview Street Extension, Fountain Inn, SC 29644.

Requirements

• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge of and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures for stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment to clean large floor areas.
• Follow proper procedures for carpet and upholstery care, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all types of floor surfaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
