About The Position

The Floor Technician is responsible for safely performing floor care duties as assigned by management and providing quality service to customers. The role requires knowledge of, and willingness to learn, all aspects of the position. Most work takes place indoors, although the team member may travel to various locations and buildings throughout the year and in different weather conditions. The team member works with cleaning chemicals and must follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment according to customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change. Drug testing is required.

Requirements

• At least one year of floor care experience, or completion of GCE Floor Care Certification Training within the first 90 days.
• Ability to follow multi-step directions.
• Ability to interact appropriately with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Ability to work multiple shifts, including weekends and overtime.
• Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the job.
• Must pass applicable organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including regularly bending, crouching, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching above the head, and lifting up to 40 pounds; occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
• Drug testing required.
