About The Position

Janitronics Facility Services is hiring a full-time Floor Technician/Facilities Specialist to clean and maintain floors and carpeted areas at client facilities. Work is primarily indoors, with frequent travel to different account locations in a company vehicle. The role includes identifying damage or repair needs, organizing and restocking supplies and equipment, and receiving parts and assembling equipment for clients. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., at $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
Ability to follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
Ability to traverse a work site and transport equipment.
Ability to reach areas below waist level and above the head.
Ability to transport up to 50 pounds through a work site as needed.
Ability to tolerate exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other potential irritants.
Ability to detect, observe, and inspect work areas for opportunities and concerns.
Ability to communicate effectively with management and coworkers and follow written and verbal instructions.
Knowledge of English language structure and content, including word meanings and spelling, composition, and grammar.
Attention to detail, dependability, integrity, flexibility, customer-service orientation, and ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
Must meet minimum age requirements.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Use medium-to-heavy equipment, including low-speed and high-speed buffers, carpet extractors, and other hands-on equipment.
Perform deep-cleaning services, including buffing floors to improve their longevity and shine.
Strip designated floors to remove old wax, soil, and debris.
Wax floors to restore shine and help protect them from damage.
Maintain cleanliness of travel vehicles and workspaces.
Travel to account locations to perform assigned duties.
Resupply and restock supplies as needed.
Follow company policies, procedures, safety standards, and security programs.
Maintain productivity at or above company standards with minimal supervision.
Treat coworkers fairly and respectfully, and communicate effectively with supervisors and other employees.
Provide outstanding customer service.
Report supply needs, repairs, safety concerns, and maintenance work to a supervisor.
Maintain the quality of assigned duties and perform other duties as assigned.
