About The Position

Galaxy Theatres is hiring Floor Staff for Galaxy Grandscape. The role supports theater operations by serving guests, selling tickets, handling transactions, preparing concessions, maintaining the facility, and helping keep the environment safe and orderly. Team members may be eligible for tip sharing depending on location and job assignment. Holiday pay is time and a half for hourly team members who work on Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving. Qualifying team members may be eligible for a 401(k) with a discretionary employer match. Full-time team members who consistently work more than 30 hours per week may be eligible for health, dental, vision, and life insurance after a 60-day waiting period, with an employer contribution of up to $395 per month.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately.

• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets at the box office using a point-of-sale system.
• Operate cash registers accurately and handle cash, credit, and mobile transactions.
• Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Check tickets at theater entrances and guide guests to appropriate locations.
• Provide information about showtimes, theater amenities, policies, and general inquiries.
• Answer phones courteously and provide accurate assistance or transfer calls as needed.
• Prepare food and beverages at the concession stand according to safety and quality guidelines.
• Stock concessions, napkins, utensils, cleaning materials, and other supplies as needed.
• Clean lobby and auditorium areas, including sweeping, mopping, restroom checks, trash removal, and general maintenance.
• Monitor crowd behavior and support crowd-control procedures to maintain a safe, orderly environment.
• Inspect the facility for safety or cleanliness issues and promptly report them.
