About The Position

Galaxy Theatres is hiring seasonal floor staff to support guest service and theater operations in a fun, fast-paced environment. The seasonal posting runs from October until January 21st. Team members sell tickets, assist guests, prepare concessions, maintain clean and safe theater areas, and help ensure an orderly environment. The position requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability as scheduled, and pays $14 per hour.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and cleaning.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets at the box office using a point-of-sale system.
• Operate cash registers accurately and handle cash, credit, and mobile transactions.
• Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Check tickets at theater entrances and guide guests to appropriate locations.
• Provide information about showtimes, theater amenities, policies, and general inquiries.
• Answer phones courteously and provide accurate assistance or transfer calls as needed.
• Prepare food and beverages at the concession stand in accordance with safety and quality guidelines.
• Stock concessions, napkins, utensils, and cleaning materials as needed.
• Clean theater areas, including sweeping, mopping, restroom checks, trash removal, and general maintenance of lobby and auditorium areas.
• Monitor crowd behavior and support crowd-control procedures to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
• Inspect the facility for safety or cleanliness issues and promptly report them.
